Angel Chen is a Chinese designer whose colourful approach to fashion coupled with the brand's core-concept of fusion of Eastern and Western aesthetics, has made her one of the country's brightest young talents. A graduate from Central Saint Martins, Chen was chosen by i-D as one of five designers-to-watch, and launched her eponymous label the following year. As a part of the 2017 International Designer Exchange Program, Mercedes-Benz invited Chen to present her Autumn/Winter 2017 collection at Milan Fashion Week. Previously, she showed at London Fashion Week with Fashion Scout, before basing herself in Shanghai. Her last Spring-Summer 2019 Collection showed at New York Fashion Week. Making the 2016 Forbes Asia "30 Under 30" and 2017&2018 BoF 500 shortlist, the Designer has been shortlisted among this year's finalists for the International Woolmark Prize.
